Pull-ups and how important are they for Longevity?

Can being able to do 10 pull-ups really tell you anything about your long-term health or lifespan?
I’ve read articles saying upper-body strength is linked to lower mortality, but I’m wondering if this is just fitness nerd chatter or if there’s real science behind it. Would love to hear your thoughts, experiences, or any studies you’ve come across!
