Hermone.Health
Established in 2021, HERMONE is a Berlin-based femtech company dedicated to enhancing women's health through education and awareness of the menstrual cycle. Co-founders Lucia Vilsecker and Philippa Zorn developed the HERMONE app to provide accessible knowledge about the four phases of the menstrual cycle and the hormones involved.
Key Features of the HERMONE App:
- Educational Content: Offers evidence-based information on the menstrual cycle's phases and hormonal dynamics, promoting body literacy among users.
- Cycle Tracking: Allows users to monitor periods, ovulation, and related symptoms, fostering a personalized understanding of their cycles.
- Symptom Logging: Enables recording of physical and emotional symptoms, facilitating insights into individual patterns and well-being.
- Community Engagement: Provides a platform for users to share experiences and support each other, fostering a sense of community.
In March 2023, HERMONE secured €1 million in pre-seed funding from angel investors, underscoring the growing recognition of the importance of menstrual health education.
By integrating comprehensive educational resources with user-friendly tracking tools, HERMONE aims to empower menstruating individuals to take control of their health, promoting informed decisions and self-advocacy.
