Sleep is soo important for Longevity. Before I owned the Garmin Forerunner 935 I didn't do power naps during the day when my sleep was bad at night. The power nap tracking feature of the Garmin Forerunner 935 is a gamechanger for me. Just activate it, when you have some minutes (e.g. for 20mins after lunch) and regenerate like never before. Is anyone else here using it?

@brgmn here are some interesting nap and sleep insights Siim Land brought up lately:

Naps are good for you!

Among people who meet physical activity recommendations, short naps (≤30 min) are associated with the lowest mortality risk even when taken ≥3 days/week

Frequent nappers (≥3 days/week) with long nap duration (>60 min) have the highest mortality risk

The physical activity criteria: ≥150 min/week

Among people who meet physical activity recommendations, sleep duration associated with the lowest mortality risk is 7 hours

Both longer and shorter sleep is associated with increased risk.

Short sleep is self-explanatory.

Longer than 8 hours is often due to an underlying medical condition.

@karol I never do power naps longer than 30 minutes. 20min seems optimal for me.

Btw One more thing: I try not to do powernaps after 16:00 (too close to bed time)
