Broad Nutrient Spectrum: It covers the basics (like vitamins and probiotics), so it’s a decent “one-stop” supplement for overall wellness.
Easy to Mix: Dissolves fairly well in water or a smoothie, so it doesn’t add too much time to daily prep.
Acquired Taste: It has a somewhat grassy/earthy flavor which isn’t for everyone. Some may find it unpleasant unless mixed with juice or a flavored smoothie.
Opaque Ingredient List: While they list the main components, the exact quantities of some ingredients are proprietary, making it harder to know precisely how much you’re getting of each.
Not a One-Size-Fits-All: Despite the “all-in-one” claim, individual nutrient requirements vary widely. You may still need to supplement with additional targeted products.
Possible GI Sensitivity: A few individuals report mild stomach discomfort or bloating, which could be due to the probiotic strains or certain herbal ingredients.
• Overhyped product: AG1 seems to be overly hyped, with the brand heavily relying on influencer marketing. Their tactics give the impression that the focus is more on advertising than delivering a genuinely superior product.
• Quality concerns: While AG1 includes a range of nutrients, the quality of some ingredients is questionable. There are concerns about the sourcing and effectiveness of some of the plant extracts and probiotics, which don’t seem to provide the benefits advertised. For the price, I expected extensively tested, high-quality ingredients.
• Better alternatives available: There are other supplements on the market that offer better formulations at a more reasonable price. Many alternatives include higher-quality ingredients and better dosing of certain nutrients, all without the marketing hype.
• Overpriced for what you get: The product is expensive considering its quality and the alternatives available. It doesn’t seem to live up to the promises made in the promotional content, and for the price, I expected a more refined product.
Tastes pretty good too
There are MUCH cheaper alternatives that give you what you need
