SALZWASSER is deeply committed to sustainability and ethical practices. Their garments are crafted from natural fibers such as organic cotton and mulesing-free merino wool, avoiding synthetic materials whenever possible. Production takes place in Europe, primarily in Portugal, Italy, and Germany, ensuring short supply chains and adherence to high environmental and social standards. The brand holds certifications from the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and is PETA-Approved Vegan, reflecting their dedication to transparency and animal welfare.

As a social business, SALZWASSER allocates a portion of its revenue to the non-profit SALZWASSER e.V., which focuses on marine conservation and environmental education.
