I am a physician and Co-Founder of EpigenEdit, a Swiss longevity and wellness company specialising in hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) for health, performance and vitality at every age. I work with individuals navigating the physical and cognitive demands of modern life and aging, as well as athletes seeking practical, evidence-informed support rather than abstract promises. I am an elite skier and ski tourer, and recently started playing tennis.

My Routines

My routine is not built around extremes.
It is built around consistency.

As a physician, entrepreneur and longevity founder, I believe healthspan is shaped less by occasional peak performance and more by the small daily decisions we repeat with discipline. My rhythm is designed to support energy, recovery, focus and long-term resilience not perfection, but continuity.

Morning
I usually wake naturally between 6:30 and 7:30 am and try to anchor my system in instant daylight as early as possible. Some mornings begin with photobiostimulation (Celluma).

Before the day becomes loud, I like a quiet start: oral hygiene, a little reading, some news, sometimes social media, occasionally while using my neurofeedback helmet (BioNeuroTech).

My day begins with warm water enriched with Löwenzahn (Schönenberger), Hypertonic Water (Quinton) and Betaine, followed by bitter and alkalizing teas. And yes I still appreciate a good coffee moment.

If the schedule allows, I add cold exposure - cold plunge, river or lake - plus running, cardio or light movement before work.

Afternoon
I eat protein-focused meals, with greens and vegetables, and I generally try to keep carbohydrates low. I am not vegetarian and consciously prioritise protein to support performance, muscle maintenance and metabolic resilience.

I like short movement snacks after meals, and depending on the day, my training is usually some combination of tennis, workout or cardio, typically two to three times per week.

My days are rarely static. I try to maintain a living balance between work, socialising, travelling, building and inventing. Variety is not a disruption for me. It is part of how I stay adaptive, creative and mentally alive.

Evening
In the evening, I become more intentional about winding down. From around 8 pm, I wear blue-light blocking / Night Shift glasses.

Most evenings include Red Light & Infrared Sauna (Therasage). Twice a week, I also use Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) in our own chamber at EpigenEdit.

One ritual I rarely skip: after sauna, I take a straight cold shower and then go straight to bed. That sequence matters to me.

I sleep in a very cold, very dark environment, and about 30 minutes before bedtime I take my tailored evening supplements to support recovery and sleep quality.

And yes from time to time, I still enjoy a glass of red wine. Longevity, for me, is not about becoming less human. It is about becoming more intentional.
