Barefoot shoes

Hey Zapiens, I am currently looking into buying barefoot shoes.
My goal:
- find great ones
(that are also good for the skin, and look stylish at the same time)
- to be used in every day life, on stage, and in sports.

I am currently in Berlin.

Curious if you have made any experience so far. Suggestions and also anti-suggestions are welcome.

How have barefoot shoes changed your lives?
Was it worth the "investment"? Would you buy again from where you bought? Or would you change somewhere?

Thanks!

I love and strongly recommed Wildling for daily use! Groundies have some sneakers, that look like "normal" sneakers. I tried Vivo Barefoot several times (boots, hiking shoes, gym shoes) and they are "ok" but do not feel as perfect as Wildlinge for me. For running I used a pair of Merrell Vapor Glove, but I switched to a pair of Ultra.

Did they change my life? Yes, I cannot wear any other shoes a longer period anymore ... But I enjoy being "purely barefoot" even more :)

I can only echo Heikos assessment. Really happy with my wildlings - stylish for business

For day to day usage I use Saguaro. Great brand and also friends experienced great customer service - BUT not so stylish for the stage. Love them for hiking too

My kids love their skinners. Socks with a kind of rubber sole. For standard roads they are great but if you use them for hiking they rub off quite quickly

Business = wildlings

Hiking = Saguaro

Day to day kids = Skinners

Day to day Daddy = barefoot 🦶

Same as Heiko I cannot wear normal shoes anymore for a longer time as my feet expanded back to the natural posture - especially the big toe is again straight forward
