Salt intake: How to find the right balance?

2 months ago (edited)

You often hear that you should avoid too much salt because it can be harmful. On the other hand, some say that many people don’t get enough, especially if you eat clean or work out a lot.

How can I find out my personal sweet spot?

Do you track your salt or electrolyte intake in any way?

And have you noticed a difference when increasing or reducing it?

I don't really track it. But it's probably above the estimated amount for normal people. So compared with my amount physical activity it should be fine. My blutpressure was never bad btw.

I don't track my salt intake. I take some electrolytes with a huge amount of potassium every morning with a big glass of water. And I am addicted to spicy/salted nuts 🤷‍♂️
