Fatty15 is the consumer brand of Seraphina Therapeutics, created to turn the science around C15:0 into a simple daily supplement. They describe themselves as the world’s first and only science-backed, patented, award-winning C15:0 supplement brand, focused on healthy aging starting at the level of the cell. 

The origin story is quite unusual: co-founder Dr. Stephanie “Steph” Venn-Watson is a veterinary epidemiologist who discovered that Navy dolphins with higher levels of C15:0 had better metabolic and liver markers. That dolphin research led to identifying C15:0 as a beneficial “good fat” and, ultimately, to positioning it as the first new essential fatty acid discovered in over 90 years. 

The brand’s mission is to “reframe how people think about fat” by showing that certain odd-chain saturated fats can stabilize cell membranes and support long-term health. Their messaging emphasizes:
