What was your first overtraining signal?

Before you knew you were overdoing it, what was the first thing your body did to tell you? Looking for the early signs that did not show up in your training log or HRV trend.

I’m probably still right in the thick of it. I find the following experience fascinating: you read so much about the subject online and see so much about it on social media. But I’ve only just managed to get to know my own body and interpret its signals, now that I know when I’ve gone too far.

In my case, an energy deficit was a particularly important issue. So if you spend weeks wondering how on earth you’re going to replace all the calories you’re burning, that can be an alarming sign.

By the way, I’m looking for people who have also been through a period of ‘overload’/‘Red-S’ or something similar. I’d love to hear from you.
