Safe deodorants – aluminum vs alum stone
I recently followed a discussion about which deodorants are actually good for your health.
A lot of people seem to use alum stone deodorants and say they’re 100% natural and not the same as regular deodorants with aluminum.
I’ve seen the claim that alum, like potassium alum, works as a natural antibacterial and astringent.
While aluminum is used in industrial products and linked to potential health risks.
But I also came across sources saying that alum stones still contain high levels of aluminum and might not be much better in the long run.
So now I’m wondering
Is there really a difference between alum and aluminum when it comes to how it affects the body?
